Don Bewley Scholarship Fund
In keeping Don’s passion for education at the heart of Eufora, and in the spirit of his commitment to serve, we are very proud to be able to offer current and future salon professionals an opportunity to cultivate their craft, learn and grow through the Don Bewley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The Scholarship Fund features Dual Award Paths, providing financial assistance to deserving students just starting their journey in cosmetology school, as well as Eufora salon professionals seeking advanced education to help them master their craft.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PATHS
STUDENTS: Up to a $2,500 Scholarship to an accredited Cosmetology School will be awarded in the form of a check paid directly to the Cosmetology School upon proof of enrollment
Eufora Salon Professionals: a Eufora Advanced Training Academy Course Certificate (valued at over $800) will be awarded to a licensed stylist
APPLICANT CRITERIA
A passion for the Professional Salon Industry and continuing education
Proof of employment as a licensed hair stylist in a Eufora Partner Salon (OR)
Proof of enrollment in an accredited Cosmetology School
1. Craft a 500-word essay.
Subject: The Importance of Education and Why I Choose Eufora”
2. Create a 2 Minute YouTube Video
Subject: What I Will Contribute to the Beauty Industry
3. Provide One Reference
A letter of recommendation from an industry professional
Scholarship F.A.Q.'s
Q. How are winners notified?
A. Winners will be notified via certified mail and via telephone
Q. Who makes the decision on winners?
A. A panel of Eufora professionals make the decisions
Q. How do winners get their Awards?
A. Students will need to provide proof of enrollment in an accredited Cosmetology School. Once enrollment is verified a check will be cut directly to the Cosmetology School. Licensed professionals applying for Academy tuition awards must be currently employed in a Eufora Salon. Upon confirmation of employment an Advanced Training Academy Certificate will be issued to the recipient electronically
Q. Can you apply more than once?
A. Only two applications per year per person will be considered, and no recipient can receive more than one Award in each Path
Q. Can I receive cash in lieu of my Scholarship Award?
A. Scholarship Awards have no Cash Value substitute
Q. What if I don’t use my Scholarship Award?
A. Scholarship Awards are good for 6 months from the date of issue, after which time the full value will be forfeited; however, that winner would be eligible to reapply for a future Award
Q. Can I gift my Award to someone else?
A. Scholarship Awards are non-transferable.
Q. How many times can I win?
A. Each recipient can receive one award from each path.
Q. When will I know if I have won or not?
A. Applicants will be notified by the end of the next calendar quarter after applying.
Q. How do I follow up on my application?
A. If it has been less than 90 days please allow Eufora time to process your application before following up. If it has been more than 90 days, please call 800-638-3672 to follow up. Scholarship awards will be available online for viewing as they are awarded each quarter
Q. Do I have to be a Eufora Stylist to apply for the professional award?
A. Yes
Q. What if I have already paid for my advanced training and win, will I get reimbursed or will I have to sign up for another course?
A. Eufora is happy to use your certificate for an Academy course that has been paid for and will reimburse prepaid funds. However, Eufora will not credit for a course that has already happened. Any reimbursement would only apply to a future class.
Need To Know:
- Incomplete Applications will not be processed, and applicant will not be notified.
- Submissions taken year-round, with Awards made quarterly.
- Scholarship funds and Award Certificates expire 6 months after notification.
- Awards have NO CASH VALUE.
- Application materials become the property of Eufora International and may be used in company marketing and advertising initiatives.
